****Teacher's Alert:  This song is a good introduction or reinforcement for countable/uncountable nouns with "How much+noncountable noun and its opposite, "How many+countable nouns."    It is also the quintessential protest song that poses a series of questions on peace, war, and humanity.

Here is the original performed by the poet/songwriter himself, Bob Dylan.

Covered by many artists in the history of music, "Blowin in the Wind" was ranked #14 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the Top 500 Greatest Songs of all Time.  In 1999, the song was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

Bob Dylan originally performed his song at Gerde's Folk City on April 16, 1962, where folk icon, Pete Seeger, first heard the song and invited Dylan to publish it in his [Seeger's] magazine, "Sing Out."  The rest is history.  The most commercially successful version of BITW was the Peter, Paul, and Mary cover which is included in these notes for the music purists.
