Teacher's alert:  This song is a good way to practice separable and inseparable phrasal verbs.  They abound in the chorus of this song.  Also, a good review of reflexives:  yourself vs yourselves might be in order for a teaching point.

On January 20, 2009, the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, in his inauguration speech said:  "Starting today, we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and begin the work of remaking America."  I wonder if he [Obama] paid for copyright fees to the songwriter's estate.
